and I know I can just grab them and go without worrying about winding, updating calendar, batteries, etc.Īnyway, I started looking into replacing the bracelets on two of the watches after I purchased them and came across this forum and been spending a lot of time here and getting ideas from you all, and looks like a great group of people here and look forward to contributing when I can due to being a newbie with watches.

Once I get back from my conference, then I'm going to start looking into probably getting a Hamilton Jazzmaster and start looking into a Tissot to wear mostly and have the Citizens always ready when needed to travel, etc. I went with Citizen because way back when I used to wear a watch, that is what I wore and my old one took a beating and still worked well so I went with what I knew. I primarily decided on these because I have a conference coming up and wanted a quartz watch that could withstand being thrown around a little in the luggage while traveling and they had a dual time option, and the perpetual calendar up to the year 2100 on all of them will be useful too. I have not worn a watch since I started using my phones to tell the time, starting back with my Motorola Startac Been thinking about getting a watch for awhile now and was actually close to getting an Asus Zenwatch, but decided to get a regular watch and took advantage of some Holiday sales and bought three Citizens. Hello, newbie here (to the forum, and to watches really).
